This darling store just makes me happy every time I go in! Little Peach has an assortment of baby & children’s clothing from favorites like The Beaufort Bonnet, Rachel Riley & Angel Dear. Plus loads of fun toys – there is something for everyone! You can also register for baby here and don’t forget to visit their store for adults, Peachtree Place.
The Wild Child | Glencoe & Wilmette
With two locations, The Wild Child is a gold mine of games, crafts & jewelry for kids. They also have a great selection of dress-ups and a curated collection of pj’s & clothes for kids.
Beat Street | Winnetka & Evanston
Every inch of this store is covered with toys. From the classics to retro favorites, this store has a unique variety of goodies!
Children’s Gift Shop | Northfield
For over 30 years this NS institution has been helping to bring the fun! The Children’s Gift Shop has a great array of toys for all ages.
Sage Explorers | Lake Forest
An educational toy store and learning center all in one. I love that they carry books & crafts created by local creatives.
Beanstalk | Highland Park
Affectionately known as “Toyland” and for good reason with it’s warm welcome encouraging kids to play in the store. Each Thursday afternoon Beanstalk hosts something special like storytelling, dress-up parties, crafts etc. (this has been on pause due to Covid, but will be coming back to the store soon!)
Penny’s from Heaven | Lake Forest
This is my go-to child’s clothing store. Penny’s from Heaven carries clothes size newborn to 14 yrs old. Penny’s from Heaven stocks some of my favorite brands – Kissy Kissy, Classic Prep, Magnolia Baby and many others! Not to mention a fabulous selection of monogrammed goodies and darling pj’s. They also has a thoughtful selection of toys, books and accessories for all ages.
Baby Dreams | Highland Park
A boutique filled with on-trend clothes for newborns to 2yr olds. Baby Dreams has a plethora of toys, books and customized gift options.
Country Classics | Glenview
Country Classics racks are overflowing with clothes for newborns and kids. I especially love their girl’s selection of Florence Eiseman and Lily Pulitzer. They have a great variety of toys, books and gifts too!
Giggles & Giraffes | Wilmette
I love that Giggles & Giraffes carries Ralph Lauren for girls & boys, which can be harder to find in store. They also have adorable baby clothes and accessories, plus items to monogram.
The Book Stall | Winnetka
A treasure in Winnetka that has been around for 75 years. I love gifting books, one can never have too many!
Maze | Winnetka
The D.Porthault and Nellapima pieces are among my favorites in the baby section at Maze. They have the sweetest items and you can monogram anything to make it more special. They always have fun goodies for littles!
Hip Hip Hooray | Northbrook
A fabulous selection of dress-up costumes along with loads of toys & gifts for ages baby to tween.
