I love thinking up the perfect housewarming gift for clients and friends, but I also like to remember to include the kids! I love to gift museum passes, pajamas or toys that make the littles learn the joys of homeownership.
There are so many fun things for a little homeowner! Caroline recently got this cooking kit and is obsessed. She now requests to help me in the kitchen and loves cutting fruit for our family. Anything that lets a child imitate something their parents do is always a hit.
The darling Chicago pajamas Caroline & Campbell are wearing (pictured above) are by Smaller Things. The Chicago print has all of the city essentials – deep dish pizza, the “L” and famous skyscrapers! Smaller Things also makes adorable pajamas that pay homage Texas, New York & Los Angeles with their respective landmarks.
Another pajama line we absolutely adore is Joy Street Kids. Their Chicago print is hand drawn by the talented founder and made of the soft pima cotton we all love. Joy Street Kids also has fabulous pj prints for New York, San Francisco, Boston, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket & Yellowstone.
A gift card or membership to a local museum, theater or a sporting event is another fun idea! I always love the Kohl Children’s Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry. You really can’t go wrong with anything and as with all gift giving it’s the thought that counts!
