Small business Saturday is one of my favorite ways to kick-off the holiday season! The village of Winnetka is making sure your small business Saturday is extra fun and festive this year with a scavenger hunt, holiday carolers & more!
On November 26th from 10am-4pm there will be a series of holiday happenings around Winnetka!
Enjoy your Saturday with the Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt. Adults and children can participate in a lively scavenger hunt at favorite local stores like The Book Stall, Serena & Lily and Beat Street Toys. Once you register you will receive an email on Nov. 25th with the list of clues from each participating merchant.
Visit businesses between 10am – 4pm as your family puts their heads together to figure out which item you are looking for you! Your team will receive a hole punch on your official form for each correct answer. After you visit all 21 participating stores, bring your completed form to the Winnetka Park District’s administrative offices (located at 540 Hibbard Road) by Nov. 28th to be entered to win some fabulous prizes! This event is free and anyone can join, but you must sign-up here!

While you’re in Hubbard Woods be sure to visit the 4ft tall aluminum letters that illuminate to spell #WINNETKA. The installation will open on Nov. 22 at 5pm and will be giving Hubbard Woods park some extra sparkle until Nov. 28 at 8am. Don’t forget to tag @villageofwinnetka and use #Winnetka when you snap a pic!
As you stroll through town this season admiring each of the storefront holiday displays, the Winnetka-Northfield-Glencoe chamber of commerce is hosting their annual window decorating contest! You can vote here for your favorite holiday decor until Jan. 4th.
Now the question is, at what part of town will you be starting the Small Business Scavenger hunt on Saturday? Don’t forget to sign-up for the fun here!
