For Campbell’s baby boy nursery I went with a color palette of blue hues because #blueandwhiteforever. For both kids I’ve skipped a traditional changing table and opted for
a dresser that they could continue to use in their room as they grew. I couldn’t pass up a navy blue lacquer bamboo dresser with gold hardware, but I am not sure Campbell will want that in his room when he’s 12… we will cross that bridge when we come to it! I opted for a regular dresser for Caroline too, she has this one that I think it will last until she goes to college.
On the dresser is the Keekaroo which is truly the best changing station for a baby. It’s so easy to clean as needed and comfy for your little one. Also on the dresser is a basket filled with diaper changing essentials and the sweetest baby blue gingham frame from coton colors.
I found these Barbar prints on etsy and thought they were perfect for a baby’s room. The prints live in these gorgeous wicker frames. In lieu of a nightstand we are currently using a garden stool, something Campbell will not want in his room forever, but we can use elsewhere in the house.
The bookcase is under $100 and perfect height for little ones to use. I bought two storage cubes to store toys sand miscellaneous items.
I like to keep nursery rooms sweet and simple. They are only in the nursery for a short time, so I prefer items that can be repurposed in another room or can grow into a big kid room.
