It’s no secret we’re a devoted UPPAbaby family. We brought CC home in the UPPAbaby MESA car seat and she spent her first 6 weeks sleeping in the bassinet that comes with her VISTA stroller. We’ve been strolling with CC since day 1. To say, we use our UPPAbaby items daily feels like an understatement.
Whenever a new mom asks what to register for, the UPPAbaby VISTA and MESA are two items I always make sure are on their list. Now that I’ve been mom-ing for almost 9 months now, I’d highly suggest adding a compact stroller to your arsenal of baby gear.
While I clearly love our VISTA, I felt I needed an additional stroller that was more lightweight for quick adventures and travel. Enter the MINU – which was just launched this year. UPPAbaby graciously introduced me to the stroller and I didn’t even realize how much I needed it in my life until I started using it.
My favorite thing about the MINU is the simple one-hand compact fold that transforms the stroller into a small, portable package. It’s unlike any stroller I’ve ever seen. I bring CC everywhere with me and this stroller makes it feel easier to do so. The one-hand fold is possible even when you have baby in the other hand. Carrying the stroller via the strap makes it easy to be on-the-go and is perfect for travel needs. I recently was on a flight solo with CC and was so grateful I had the MINU with me.
One of my favorite things about my VISTA is the storage basket and the MINU has plenty of storage too! The basket below the seat can hold up to 20lbs. There is also a secret pocket on the canopy top that fits the essentials β keys, phone, travel wipes etc. As an added bonus it’s at hand level, so you don’t have to reach down to the basket for your phone. Which is always appreciated for a paparazzi mom like me.
The stroller weighs in at under 15 lbs. and is super lightweight and compact. It’s suitable for babies 3 months old to 50 lbs., which I love since babies tend to outgrow items so quickly. The stroller also reclines to ensure your baby is able to nap comfortably.
The UPF 50+ canopy provides sun blockage and on the canopy there is a magnetic mesh peekaboo window, so you can watch your little one. When baby is facing outward, I hate not being able to check on CC, so I especially love this feature.
UPPAbaby also has tutorial videos to help you learn all of the different MINU features. I am a visual learner, so these are always necessary for me! See how-to use the recliner, fold + unfold and the attachments.
I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and to me, UPPAbaby gear is always worth the investment. I still love using my VISTA but it’s nice to have another option to round out our stroller needs depending on what the day brings. From urban to suburban we’re so glad we have the MINU.
