I don’t know about you, but pizza is a dinner staple in our house!

Here’s a round-up of some of my favorite places to order ‘za in the NS 🍕

Lefty’s Pizza Kitchen– I love Lefty’s thin crust & deep dish za! Their caramelized crust and bold tomato sauce compliment any topping, but we always opt for sausage or pepperoni. (Wilmette & Highland Park)

Grateful Bites Pizza Shoppe – Delicious wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas. I recommend the pepperoni with hot honey, sausage giardineria and elote pizzas. Grateful Bites also has vegan cheese and gluten free crust options. (Winnetka)

Pizza By Sal – Delicious New York style pizza by the beloved Ballyhoo hospitality group. You can choose from their specialty pies or build your own! Also available by the slice in-house. (Wilmette)

DeSalvo’s – Another delicious New York style pizza option, family owned and operated. Known for their chewy and crispy crust. This place offers pizza by the slice as well. (Evanston)

Marco Roma Pizzeria – Our go-to spot when we just want thin crust za. We love their speciale pizza, fully loaded with sausage, pepperoni, green pepper, mushroom, red onion and cheese. We also get the pollo chop salad to balance out our pizza. (Winnetka)

Napolita – Another great spot for authentic wood-burning Neapolitan pizza. Napolita has delicious rosso and bianca pizza options! (Wilmette & Northbrook)

Lou Malnati’s – Who doesn’t love Lou’s? It’s our tried & true pizza spot. We usually get one deep dish and one thin crust and I always love the Lou’s salad. If you truly want to indulge, order the chocolate chip cookie pizza – a freshly baked cookie prepared in a deep dish pizza pan topped with vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream. (Wilmette)

Barnaby’s – A true NS institution known for their thin and crispy cornmeal crust pizzas. Their fresh mozzarella cheese and variety of toppings make your pizza options endless. I’ve been ordering from Barnaby’s since I was little and it always hits the spot! (Northbrook)

North Shore Pizza Company – Offering thin, roma and pan or stuffed pizza. They also have a cauliflower crust option. North Shore Pizza Company has unique toppings like Italian beef & buffalo chicken! (Northfield)
